Second time we have used Precision. First time the spring broke on our two car garage. This time the door was struggling and looked like it was getting stuck when it first started opening. Tim arrived at the earliest part of the window, on a Saturday, which as someone who works Monday through Friday having the availability of weekends is amazing. He explained what he was seeing and offered resolutions ranging from just a tune up to multiple levels of replacements. Tim was polite, friendly, professional and very efficient as he said the replacement will take about 1.5-2 hours and he was right on time. He assisted in programming our vehicles as well as the remotes you clip on your visor. Over all great experience. Very pleased with Precision from start to finish.

Was told on the phone that a Torsion spring repair would be between $150-$300 all in, but they couldn’t quote the exact price until tech shows up. Oh, and the tech costs $75 to show up, but we credit you if you use us. Classic sunk cost fallacy here. Tech shows up and says the part costs $330. Just wasted $75 for a visit.

After listening to the call, the young lady quoted the service call of $75 that was waived with repair on multiple occasions as that was a specific question you had about the charge. You also asked about pricing which you were given a range which the technicians quote also matched. We are sorry you're unhappy, but the information you were given on what to expect when the technician came out to your home was correct. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I was amazed to get same day service after contacting them!! Evan Koppel, the technician evaluated the door condition and gave me three options. We chose the most extensive fix and wow. He fixed the problems quickly and with great care. Works great now. Not many contractors this good! Thanks!

After calling the install vendor and another company that was also listed on the garage door I was unable to get a service person until Monday or Tuesday. I finally called a friend about 3:50 and they recommended Precision and their service is spectacular! I went to the website and actually used the “chat” feature and understandably the first available appointment was not until Monday morning. I explained the situation of how my husband was headed out for an appointment, pushed the garage door button and the spring broke and the garage door is so heavy we couldn’t get the cars out and our garage door is one of those doors that weighs so much you really can’t use a release button and just push it up. The “chat” then told me about the emergency option and fee and how they could have someone out between 6-10 pm. Evan from Prevision called me about 5:15 said he would be at the house in 25 minutes and he arrived before 6! He was compassionate, asked questions, and was so good at informing me of my options in getting the door repaired. Evan said the repair time would be about an hour. Evan finished within the hour, explained my warranty, shared my statement, I paid and he shared his business card, a sticker for Prevision (of course we put it on the garage door and removed the other stickers)and headed out! Thank you Evan! You made a not so happy experience much easier to handle with your excellent service skills. ~Jackie
