None of my garage door codes would work. Called Precision Garage and Scotty arrived the same day and immediately diagnosed the problem. The garage motor printed circuit board was bad. Scotty installed a new motor head containing the circuit board and I was good to go. In addition he also made sure MyQ remote system worked. I recommend Precision.

I contacted Precision Door around 3 pm on Monday afternoon when a bracket on our door broke and Ryan was scheduled to address our door issues Tuesday morning. Amazing responsiveness. Ryan called on the way to our house and arrived as planned. He assessed the door issues and proposed a plan to fix and service the door. With a clear estimate of costs. Ryan was knowledgeable, professional and completed the work in a very efficient manner. The result is a door working like new. In addition, with the age of the door, he provided a clear proposal refurbish the door when the time came.

I have a 20 yr old garage door opener and all door hardware that was installed by Precision Door in Chapel Hill area. I’ve had several service calls for spring replacements and today I had a new belt installed. The technician, Mr McCann was phenomenal. 5 stars + He was punctual, polite, knowledgeable and kind. He explained options. Did not attempt to update anything. He was thorough and quick with the belt replacement and maintenance was provided to the rest of my system. Devin and Ryan arrived on time, assessed the problems-broken spring on one door and loud noise when opening and closing the other door. They provided information and quote to repair the problems and applied available coupons. No up selling. Excellent work! Had used Precision just over a year ago to replace rollers , bearing plates, etc. on my garage door that was 15 years old. They were quick to reply to my call for service and technician Scotty explained options to me. At that time the motor was still working fine, but went out on me late yesterday afternoon. I called this morning and they gave me a time of 12-4 this afternoon. Tim McRae called earlier but I was at Physical Therapy and returned his call and he was here at 1:30 and explained that the motor needed replacing andwhat would be involved with getting a new one installed today and estimates. Great experience from start to finish. We use our garage as the primary entrance to our home, so the garage door is a high-cycle door. When it failed, I called Precision of Raleigh. The woman who took my request for strand repair was very good, and thorough, and was able to give me an appointment the next day that fit my schedule. John P., the technician that worked on my door was awesome. He knew his craft and was proficient at it. He kept me informed all the way through, and in little over an hour, I had new high-cycle springs, new rod bearings, new rollers, both drums reset, and channels fine tuned. Very satisfied with the results. If you want it done right with quality materials and workmanship, this is the place to have it done.
